親愛なるパンキャンフレンズの皆様へ

新年明けましておめでとうございます。

新しい年は常に新たなる希望と機会をもたらします。膵臓がん研究コミュニティの勢いは増しています。この明るい未来へ の期待が、さらなる発展を促すために、私たちがより懸命に、そして賢く活動するための糧となることでしょう。

1999年に米国で膵臓がんアクションネット ワーク（パンキャン）が誕生してから、膵臓がんの研究コミュニティは大きな変革を遂げ、さらに進化し続けています。膵臓がんアクションネットワーク（パンキャン）は、この進化をもらす重要な役割を担ってきました。膵臓がんを研究する科学者の数は年々増加しています。いままで以上に優秀な科学者が膵臓がんの 研究に参加するようになりました。一緒に協力することで、継続的に研究開発をすすめ、最も改善が望まれるこのがんに罹るすべての人に希望をもたらすことができます。

Dear Pancreatic Cancer Action Network Friends:

The new year always brings a renewed sense of hope and opportunity. The momentum in the pancreatic cancer scientific community is growing. This optimism only fuels us to work harder and smarter to help accelerate progress.

Since our founding in the United States in 1999, the research landscape for pancreatic cancer has transformed and continues to evolve.  The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network has played a significant role in helping to bring about this evolution.  The number of investigators studying the disease continues to grow, and the field of pancreatic cancer research is attracting more brilliant minds than ever before.

By coming together, I know we can continue to accelerate progress and bring hope to all of those touched by this leading cancer killer.
